Board of Directors

The board of directors is made up of a group of balloon enthusiasts that lived in Glens Falls, NY and are the founding members of the BlackSheep Squadron. Please visit out About Us page to view the history. The blacksheep members all came together for the love of ballooning. This sport of ballooning has brought them all together and they stick together as a pack. You can find these members flying every weekend in the northeast and participating in festivals around the world.

Todd Monahan	Todd Monahan is a commercial pilot in Glens Falls, NY and he is involved in many balloon festivals around the world. He owns SunKiss Ballooning, Clown-N-Around, and you can see him flying "Joey" the bee at many of the festivals.
Mike Hernandez	Mike Hernandez has been a Private LTA Pilot since July of 2007 and with his family and friends enjoys flying his balloons, Carried Away and circLIN'DAwn, around the North East and Canada. Mike works hard with the rest of BSS to bring more interest to the sport in our area as well as improve landowner relations with the great people of our region. Andrew Avon	Andrew Avon has been around the sport of ballooning since he was 2 days old! He has flown balloons of many different sizes and has even flown a few special shape hot air balloons. Andrew has flown balloons all over the United States and Canada. Andrew is one of the founding members of the Black Sheep Squadron hot air balloon group. Andrew is the pilot for the DarkStar Balloon Team.  The DarkStar balloon team is comprised of family and friends and the world renowned Crew Chief Hair Hat.
Scott Monahan	Scott Monahan is a crew chief for SunKiss ballooning and is the brother of Todd Monahan. He travels to most festivals and you will find him directing the traffic around the balloons. He is also the webmaster for SunKiss Ballooning, Clown-N-Around, and your very own Blacksheep website.
Mark Pluta	Mark Pluta is a private pilot from Glens Falls, NY. Mark joined the Blacksheep in 2008 and has jumped in running. He contributes to the blacksheep any way possible and you will see him flying every weekend with the team.
